This is the bung needed to securely mount guages in the tank wall or doors.
It requires a 7/8” hole. I start with a 1/4” hole and enlarge that 1/2”. I then move to a step bit (Harbor Freight) to expand it 7/8”.
The process takes about 10 minutes for two holes.
Then, simply weld the bung from inside. Easy, peasy!!!
